Annalyn E. Castro is an emerging artist who explores a variety of media including oil, acrylic, pastels and pen & ink but considers acrylic her favorite. A self taught artist who developed a passion for art at a very young age and now a weekend painter. She paints in different styles, subject matters and techniques using brush and palette knife. Her joy is revealed in every piece of work done. Most of them are found within her circle of friends, family and private collections. She has begun collecting works of artists who inspired her to pursue painting professionally and learn from them. Annalyn finds comfort in painting and works out of her studio in San Jose, California. Her guiding principle "Imperfection is uniqueness"
